Scheme in support to on-going works by HM Government of Gibraltar, for the design of new walking and cycle routes along the historic city walls.
The concept, granted planning approval, involves the design of a ‘memorial park’ to the Orange Bastion area, which together with the existing American War Memorial and the refurbished Bastion would serve as a more fitting setting for the commemorative services held yearly; as well as being an attractive urban landscaped area.
The rejuvenation of the site aims to positively promote a possible future link along Gibraltar’s old city walls.
